City Touch Round 5

Another round, another clean sheet. A fantastic defensive effort by the 8 players present kept WDTA McLeod's daughters inside their half for all but about 5 drives.

Comment of the game:

"They're scared of me! I love it!" - Wina

A high scoring first half gave us an unbeatable lead: 6 - 0 at half time, and then a couple more unanswered touchdowns in the second half.

We still have things we can improve - keeping our attacking wingers wide at all times will give us more scoring opportunities, and moving the defenders about on the line will create holes. Our defence was great, but shut-downs need to come quicker (and we need to be more confident when shooting). A bit more structure in terms of both attack and defence will help us out come August, and State League.

I'm not going to say much more, other than keep bringing money, and don't forget the State League Trials this Sunday - at midday.
