City Touch Round 7
A bit of a scare this week - only 2-1 up at half time!
We probably needed this wake-up call. Roosters are a good team - they do have several of our past (and current) state league players, and we really underestimated them. Scoring first, and so quickly and easily probably made us think we would win quite comfortably, but it wasn't the case.
Actually, checking the score shows a 6-2 victory, which in normal circumstances is a comfortable win!
I missed a fair chunk of the second half due to administration requirements for state league (see associated posts on this site), but I would like to see us return to our 'better' form, including having one-for-one subs again sometime soon.
Don't forget State League training this Sunday at 12:30.
